L'Allunaggio del Lupo (The Lupine Lunar Landing)
Animated Short Film | B.M. Capstone, Peabody Conservatory
Directed, Story, Music by Yemi Kanmi
Although it's a myth that wolves howl at the moon, one wolf becomes so enamored with the moon's beauty that it seeks a way to be with it forever. But is that love worth what the wolf leaves behind?
Trailer
Lupo is an unorthodox filmmaker's dream made manifest. I'm not an animator, after all; I'm a composer. But I've always had a deep passion for the potential of the medium.

I wrote Lupo with risk, desire, and love in mind. Through my time in college, I had taken many risks, desired many achievements, and loved many people. Some worked out! Many didn’t. Regardless, I grew into a better, wiser person.

Films often tell stories of dreams and the success of achievement. Lupo questions and interprets the definition of success when you have a dream: is it achievement? Or is it the journey and the growth? And what will your journey reveal to you?
